Your Email Title Senior Full Stack Developer – Digital Banking Client: Old National Bank Location: St. Louis Park, Minneapolis, MN Work Arrangement: Onsite 3 days per week Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension Contract Type: C2C (Corp-to-Corp) Job Summary Old National Bank is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer – Digital Banking to design, develop, and integrate user interface components and backend APIs that support custom digital banking experiences. This is a hands-on development role for an experienced engineer who can work independently, make sound technical decisions, and establish the technical foundation and development processes for a new team. The selected candidate will be the first developer on the team, responsible for building scalable solutions using React.js, Python, and AWS services while collaborating with product, architecture, and technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development expertise, cloud integration experience, and the ability to take ownership of solutions from initial design through implementation, testing, and deployment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications supporting custom experiences within the Digital Banking platform. Build responsive, reusable, and user-friendly UI components using React.js . Develop backend APIs and services using Python . Implement and integrate serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway . Establish development workflows, coding standards, reusable components, and best practices for future team members. Integrate custom applications and services with the bank's existing Digital Banking platform. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Manage source code, branching strategies, and team collaboration using GitHub . Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend applications, backend APIs, and AWS cloud services. Create and maintain technical documentation to support application maintenance, knowledge sharing, and long-term platform supportability. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using React.js . 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python development. 2+ years of experience implementing solutions using AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway . 2+ years of experience using GitHub for source control, version management, and collaborative development. Strong understanding of full-stack application architecture, REST APIs, and cloud-based application development. Experience designing and integrating frontend and backend components. Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and make technical decisions with minimal supervision. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing or integrating applications within a Digital Banking platform , preferably Candescent . Previous experience establishing development processes, coding standards, or technical practices for a new team. Experience working in Agile development environments. Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation. Previous experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated enterprise environments. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a self-driven Senior Full Stack Developer who can serve as the technical foundation for a new development team. This individual should be comfortable working with limited direction, building solutions from the ground up, and delivering reliable, scalable digital banking applications. Strong hands-on expertise in React.js, Python, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway is essential. Experience with digital banking platforms, particularly Candescent, along with the ability to establish development standards and collaborate across enterprise technology teams, will be a significant advantage.
